Privacy Policy
1) Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Learn To Save Calculator (“the App”, “we”) collects, how we use it, and how you can delete it. It applies to the website and to the iPhone app.
The short version: we only keep what the App needs to work. We don’t sell your information, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use tracking or analytics tools. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from inside the App.
The iPhone app: we collect nothing
The Learn To Save iPhone app has no accounts and makes no internet connections. Everything you enter (budgets, spending, income, bills, goals and debts) is saved only on your iPhone and is never sent to us or anyone else. The app has no ads, analytics or tracking.
Bill reminders are scheduled by your iPhone itself. Your information is included in your iPhone's own backups (like iCloud Backup) the same way other apps' data is. To erase it, use Settings (⚙️) → Erase all my data in the app, or delete the app.
The rest of this policy describes the website, which uses accounts.
2) Information We Collect
Account information
- Your first and last name and your email address
- Your password, stored securely by our sign in provider. We never see it.
- The access code you used to create your account, and when you used it
What you enter in the App
- Budget plans: your income, how often you’re paid, and the plan you choose for each month
- Spending: what you spent money on, the amount, the bucket (Needs, Wants, Savings, Debt Relief) and the date
- Bills: the bill name, amount, due day, bucket, and which months you marked it paid
- Savings goals: the goal name, target amount and how much you’ve saved
- Your chosen color theme
Stored on your device
- Your sign in session, so you stay logged in
- Small settings, like your color theme and whether you’ve seen the welcome message
Basic technical information
Like most online services, the companies that run our servers may briefly log technical details such as your IP address and browser type when your device connects. We don’t use this to track you.
3) How We Use Information
- To create your account and sign you in
- To save your budget plans, spending, bills and goals so they’re on any device you sign in from
- To check that your access code is valid
- To send account emails, like confirming your email or resetting your password
- To keep the App secure and working properly
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
4) Services We Use
A few trusted companies help run the App. They only process your information to provide their service to us, under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase: securely stores your account and the information you enter, and handles sign in
- Resend: delivers account emails (email confirmation and password reset)
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: deliver the App’s fonts and code files to your device
- Apple: if you buy the App from the App Store, Apple handles the payment. We never receive your payment card details.
5) Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the App:
- Tap Settings (the ⚙️ gear at the top).
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
This immediately and permanently deletes your account, your profile, and all of your budget plans, spending, bills and savings goals. It can’t be undone.
We keep a record that your access code was used, so it can’t be used again. Copies of deleted information may remain in our providers’ routine backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

6) How Long We Keep Information
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your information is deleted as described above.
7) Your Choices and Rights
- See and change your information: everything you enter can be viewed, edited or deleted in the App.
- Get a copy or ask a question: email us and we’ll help.
- Delete everything: use Delete my account (section 5).
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us to use them.
8) Security
Your information is sent over encrypted connections, and our database only lets each person reach their own information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9) Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

The App is for informational and educational purposes only and does not provide financial, legal, or professional advice.
11) Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
